This loose-fit side gathered dress is made with handwoven Jamdani fabric, yarn-dyed in natural indigo. The jamdani used here is a part of the Khaddar Bindu fabric collection. Bindu - as in the point at which the creation begins – is inspired by the universal ubiquitous dot. The fabric is woven using fine hand spun cotton, making it soft and translucent. The sleeves are patchwork placement of checks and stripes with hand stitched embroidery details. Inseam pockets and interesting button detailing further exemplify this dress characteristic of Karomi clothing.
